Harajuku Hall Pop-Up is a two-day community event celebrating Japanese street fashion, independent artists, idol performers, handmade crafts, and spooky-cute Halloween fun! Whether you're a longtime member of the EGL and J-fashion community or simply looking for a unique weekend experience, Harajuku Hall is open to everyone!
Shop from curated vendors, watch a fashion show, enjoy idol performances, meet fellow fashion enthusiasts, participate in interactive workshops, and celebrate the beginning of the Halloween season in an atmosphere full of creativity and community.
What is Harajuku?
Ever since the 1970's, a small street called Takeshita-dori in Tokyo’s Harajuku neighborhood has been the youth-fashion epicenter of the world! Fashion enthusiasts and creatives gather here, as Harajuku us home to many different styles. Now, Harajuku Fashion is loved all around the world!
There is no one “Harajuku style”. Instead, Harajuku style is a name for any fashion subculture that lives in the neighborhood. From “kawaii” styles like Lolita and Decora, to bold styles like Gyaru and Harajuku Punk, to dark styles like Visual Kei and Menhera. Harajuku style is for everybody!
